Sevilla center back Sergio Ramos and Real center back Antonio Rüdiger got into a fight during the 10th round of the 2023-2024 Spanish Primera Liga at the Pizjuan in Sevilla, Spain, on Oct. 22 (KST).

In the 41st minute of the first half, after a corner kick opportunity for Sevilla came to nothing, the two players suddenly glared at each other and exchanged harsh words. Suddenly, "General" Ramos moved in close to Rüdiger and pinched his cheek with both hands. Rudiger had enough and grabbed Ramos's back with both hands.

The situation was this. Ramos' marker was Real midfielder Judd Bellingham. Ramos raced past Bellingham toward the goal area, and that's when Bellingham went down in pain. Rudiger protested the incident after Sevilla's shot went wide and got into an argument with Ramos. In response, players from both teams lunged at him. 먹튀검증

Ramos is a "legendary defender" who played 671 games for Real in 16 years. His fiery temper has led to clashes with Lionel Messi, Lee Kang-in, and many other players. After returning to Sevilla this season from Paris Saint-Germain, Ramos didn't take kindly to his 'Real juniors' either.

Rudiger is no slouch when it comes to temper either. Ramos was happy to be challenged. Football fans described it as "a clash of (Real's) past and present" and "a fight between Godzilla and King Kong".

It's not like they fought like you'll never see again. What happened on the pitch was resolved off the pitch in a manly fashion. After the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, they shared a big hug. Rudiger was named the man of the match.

Meanwhile, the match was marred by controversy after some Sevilla fans made racist remarks towards Real striker Vinicius Junior.

With the one point, Real maintained their lead at the top of the standings with 25 points. Sevilla remained in 13th place with nine points.
